Building a Globally Informed Data Strategy for the United States

The RDA-US community

The Research Data Alliance – United States (RDA-US) community has been a leading partner in the founding, development, and support of the global Research Data Alliance.

Launched with seed funding from several US funders (NSF, NIST, Sloan Foundation, Gordon and Betty Moore Foundation), RDA-US members have contributed countless volunteer hours to develop and advance a well-respected global network of data professionals addressing fundamental issues of data sharing and reuse. The RDA-US initiative has led, coordinated, and supported US members over a productive and impactful 10-year+ journey.

We look forward to another decade of:

  • Strong community connections
  • Global solutions to benefit our region and beyond
  • Advancing research and education in open science
  • Facilitation of working groups in support of RDA and RDA-US goals
